We represent clients in all stages of litigation; starting from drafting and sending legal notices and replies to further initiating and following up on civil and criminal proceedings (preparing summons and pleadings, attending in court, expert appointment) in urgent, commercial, financial, lease, real estate, taxation, labor, criminal matters and enforcement process.
As a way of example, we have represented a client in vigorously contested worldwide litigation in coordination with the UK based law firm. We represented the successful plaintiff in Lebanese proceedings, including applying for enforcement of the English court judgments and orders and responding to interim injunctions. The proceedings were issued at all levels of court from the Court of First Instance to the Cour de Cassation. Experts were instructed and evidence covered issues including de facto/shadow directorships, the management and ownership of Lebanese companies, sovereign immunity, exequatur and enforcement treaties, banking secrecy, confidentiality, the rights and duties of shareholders in Lebanese companies.
